If you are planning to attend any interview so be ready for some of the tricky and trendy questions that may spoil your entire interview so to avoid such embarrassing situations better to do some homework before facing the interview.
In this blog on career guidance, we are just going to discuss how those tricky questions we should respond to them because the memorized answer from the internet doesn't work in that situation as the interviewee wants to analyze your personality and working style, so you must be careful that the interviewer is an expert in that field and they want to see your perception about self-assessment and your positive traits that can help you in the workplace or in case of weakness how you are going to deal with them so they cannot affect the workplace. so don't vomit and memorized answers in front of them.
so let's take some of the questions that can spoil your head
1) Tell us about your strength and weakness.
As a candidate, this question seems too easy and you can respond to it in your own style but one thing doesn't forget with your answer you have to convince the interview panel now realize this point everything you gonna say that interviewees love to listen. Actually saying this is the situation where most of us are the mistakes, as we forget the major point of correlation. Always remember whenever you answer this question you have to correlate yourself with your field to answer the strength and weaknesses.
E.g. your field of specialization is architecture and you are an expert in the architecture field, and attending the interview once you finished your technical round you may face these kinds of questions so while answering your strength you have to correlate your strength skill with your profession
so as an architect if somebody asks about my strength and I start reading the memorized lessons like my strength is I am a good speaker, I am honest, I can stay out of my home for long times, I am a hard worker, I am good learner, I am an athletic person.
See now all the strengths are okay but can you can which particular strength is going to help the company or which particular strength is related to his profession of architecture. so, in that case, your all strengths are not useful for your profession which makes a strong negative about your interview and that may cause you not selected for the job. so to avoid such a situation always answer those strengths which have a direct or indirect association which your profession.
Now let's talk about the weakness
so again if you are explaining your weakness again with honesty you must talk about the hindrance which creates problems for you to become good, better, and best in your field.
that you have to identify in yourself.
Speaking too much about your negatives is not good so there are some examples that you can take for your preparation for the interview and correlate with your profession.
1) Lack of software expertise: I have knowledge of ABC software but in software D I have less expertise and I am learning and trying to develop expertise as soon as possible.
2) I feel sometimes I am more sensitive and emotional when people do backbiting when I believe them to my friend in the workplace.
3) Sometimes I am having the habit of procrastination means giving more value to the less important work.
4) I am a little bit hesitant and shy in talking to female colleagues.
5) Public Speaking is a serious concern for me as seeing too much crowd I lost my focus and confidence.
6) Perfectionism also causes trouble for me sometimes as I ignore the deadline and keep on working on the project to enhance its quality.
7) Nowadays I am learning python and I am facing lots of difficulties as it is out of my expertise area but somehow I am managing
So, these are some examples that you can use according to your professing while addressing your weakness to the interviewer.
